Baby It’s Cold Outside

Happy November!  I am doubting that my little blog has gone viral, so I am assuming that, like me, you are all in the the Northeast and are cold today.  I opened my door this morning underdressed and unprepared for the almost freezing temperature that awaited me on the other side.  My kids complained all the way to school because they had no coats or gloves.  Normally, I would be fine with them being a little uncomfortable as they are soft and need to toughen up.  But, when they go to school looking like they have no mother, it is bad for my reputation.  I will spend a good part of today digging through the winter bins to see what still fits and trying to find gloves that match — again, so other moms don’t talk about me.  I love where I live, I love the change in seasons … red wine, boots, fires, red wine, smores, skiing and red wine make this time of year so fun.  I don’t love the cold though.  This week I am focusing on cold weather prep and what you can do to make the next few months more comfortable and healthy — M – skincare, T – boosting your immunity, Th – common cold,

F – the flu vaccine
