Headaches

After two weeks of writing about cancer, I really wanted to be able to say, “It’s NOT a tumor.”  Unfortunately, blogging it does not have the same effect as saying it Schwarzenegger style.  Click here to see the real thing.  It isn’t quite as funny as I remember it, but then again, what is?

Almost everyone gets headaches and almost everyone can give a headache.  They can range from mildly annoying to absolutely debilitating but they very rarely turn out to be a toomah.  There are many common causes and types of headaches as well as many different types of treatments.  Tune in this week for Headache 101: M – causes, T – types, W – treatments, Th – when to worry, F – what gives me (and maybe you) a headache.

Week of October 18th – Cancer continued

Did you know there were so many ribbons?  I could do cancer forever, but I won’t because I really want you to continue reading YesFive.  As warned, it is a depressing topic but one that I think becomes less and less formidable with more information.  After giving you some facts about ovarian and skin cancer, I plan on ending the week with some hope … treatment, promising research, and prevention.  Can you imagine the headline, “Cancer Cure Discovered!”?  I can and it makes me smile.  Maybe someday …
In the meantime, arm yourself with information because while there are some things that you can’t change, there are many that you can.  Click here for the cancer page.
